Irene Vas (77), wife of the late Rockey Vas, mother of Tina and Lenden, passed away on September 27, 2025.
Funeral Mass on Sunday, September 28 at 2.00pm in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, Haralur main road, Bangalore.
A beautiful person - warm, loving, caring and nurturing. Though we always interacted with each other as Sindhi Society residents and through church related activities and prayers, Irene came into my life from nowhere in my darkest moments like an angel to handhold, comfort and console me. Not only did she provide emotional support, she was present physically to carry me through those anxiety filled days. I could never thank her enough and lost contact when she moved to Bangalore. I will always cherish her warm kisses and hugs and the radiant smile. Our deepest condolences to Tina, Lenden and family; and prayers for strength in these difficult moments. Sorry for your loss Tina and Lenden. I remember visiting you when we were kids, whenever we were in Bombay. Uncle Roque and Aunty Irene were always welcoming, caring and loving. I hadn't seen her in several years but remember her very fondly. Condolences too to the brothers, sisters and extended family.

Dear Tina and Lenden, We are deeply sorry for your loss. Iribai was truly a remarkable woman — someone whose presence lit up every room she entered. Her generosity, her warmth, and that ever-bright smile made her someone everyone was drawn to. She wasn’t just family — she was a steady source of strength and support, the kind of person people naturally turned to in both joy and difficulty. Losing someone so full of life and love leaves a space that can’t easily be filled. But please know that her light lives on in all of us who had the honor of knowing her.
