Evelyn Saldanha (84), wife of the late B M Saldanha, Basrikatte, Chikmagalur, and mother of Matilda - former principal, St Patrick's School, Bangalore (+ Simon Lasrado - Sullia / Kodihalli, Bangalore - formerly of BEML, Bangalore), Francis - "Franky" - Basrikatte ( + Janet nee D'Souza), Vincy (+ Philomena nee Furtado, Puttur), Jessie ( + Albert D'Souza, Taccode / Bahrain), Gracy (+ Winston David), Prescilla (+ Bonny Pinto) and Lavina (+ Prakash), passed away in Bangalore on Monday, September 3, 2007.

Funeral cortege leaves residence of daughter Matilda (+ Simon), 1347 'Sun-Hill', 12th Main, VI Cross, HAL III Stage, Kodihalli (Near Miranda School), Bangalore 560 008 for Resurrection Church, Old Madras Road at 3-00 pm on Tuesday, September 4, followed by Mass at 3-30 pm and interment in Kalpally cemetery thereafter.

On Behalf of my sisters, brother, in laws and children I take this opportunity to thank Ronald D’Cunha, Vincent Miranda, I M D’Souza, Vincent D’Souza and their family for their condolence messages on the Daiji Dubai Web Site. We also thank Cynthi Surya, Arthur D’Souza, Rose Rego and Dora for taking overall responsibility during the funeral ceremony that was held in a systematic way. We thank each and every one who visited our house, Resurrection Church and the cemetery during the final journey of our dearest mother Eveline Saldanha and for sharing our sorrow. We also thank our friends in Muscat for their condolence messages and prayers. Your love and affection shown during this period will be cherished in our heart and will definitely inculcate a habit to reciprocate our feelings. Finally a big thank you to Daiji Dubai and Richie Lasrado for ing the obituary. I now realize the importance of this web site. Thanks and best wishes to one and all.
