Marian Castelino (90) (Ex Syndicate Manager / Bangalore), son of the late Jacob and the late Magdeline Castelino, husband of the late Louisa Castelino, father of the late Merlyn Castelino, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023.

Funeral cortege leaves residence 'Regent Park', Flat 101, Valencia, Mangalore on Tuesday, October 31 at 10.30am (viewing 9am - 10.30am) for St Vincent Ferrer Church, Valencia, Mangalore. Mass at 11.00 am followed by burial at Valencia cemetery.

Condolences from Donnab Machado family Bangalore. And to those who looked after him in his last days, Shiny and others. He was our only uncle in Bangalore in those days, still remember the times he used to come over regularly with Merlyn, always with a box of sweets. And our visits to his house, with Aunty and his hospitality. He was such a nice, faithful, humble,loving person, a link with Mangalore and the old world. So sad to see his generation go. May God rest his soul!

Uncle Marian, my maternal uncle , was a , loving, kind generous , God fearing person He impacted my life as teen ager, by his qualification, obtaining degree ,though those days there was no collage in home town ,then got employed in Syndicate Bank , reading book etc .. I got inspired by these then I could achieve these things in my life...In his difficult situations in life held on to God and the Lord true to his nature made sure he was well taken care till the last breath...Our God is so faithful ...

He was kind, generous, patient, at times witty ... disciplined person ..through the difficult times of life, prayerful, faithful , never complained... Our faithful God , saw that he was well taken care till his last breath...
