Fr Faustin John Pinto (73), son of the late Basil J Pinto and the late Severin A Pinto, brother of Theresa/the late Mark, Leena/Vaidyanathan, Peter/Christine, Felix/Ivy, Pius/Pedcy, Cynthia/Wency, Rony/Pammi and Micky/Veena, uncle of 16 nephews and nieces, passed away on October 12, 2023.

Funeral service on Saturday, October 14 at 10:30 am in St Joseph’s Cathedral, Meerut. After the funeral Mass the mortal remains will be taken to St Luke’s Church cemetery at Saket for burial.

We have fond memories of this wonderful Man of God, he was kind, generous, and full of energy moving all ove Mussoorie on his motorcycle. Fr Pinto was our Parish Priest in Mussoorie when we were teaching in Woodstock School in the year 1997-1998. We remember the Procession he conducted on the Feast Day of the Virgin Mary attended by hundreds of local people of all faiths and he made many converts. He will be missed by many . Our hearfelt condolences to his family and all who loved him. Rest in Peace and Love of God Dear Fr Pinto, in you Heaveny Home.

I have wonderful memories of Fr. Pineto In 1998 I visited Missouri. Fr. Pinto was Parish Priest. He took the time to put me on the back of of his motorcycle and gave me a wonderful knowledgeable tour of the whole area. A kind, gentle and caring Priest. Rest In Peace Father Pinto.

Heartfelt condolences on Fr Pinto’s passing. He used to teach us Catechism at Sophia Girls High school in Saharanpur. He was very young then in the late 1970’s- a priest filled with the love of God.
