Sr Laeta BS nee Christine Fernandes (94), of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany, Mangalore, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023 in Bethany Convent, Bangalore (Jayamahal).

She hails from Holy Cross Parish, Kulshekar, Mangalore.

Funeral rites will be held in St John the Evangelist Church, J C Nagar, Bangalore on Wednesday, October 11 at 10:30 am.

We will miss you dear aunty Sr. Laeta, you were such a sweet, prayerful and loving presence in our lives. We have such good memories of times spent with you and your Community Sisters at Bogadi and Jayamal extn. Always Gentle and serene, with huge smiles and warm embraces for us. Your delight to see us was really touching, making us feel welcome and comfortable alongwith your Community Sisters. We Extend our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and most of all to the Bethany Community Sisters who have cherished aunty and at the end, given her a beautiful final tribute for her long, dedicated and devoted service as a faithful servant. Sr Laeta will always be remembered with much love and respect. Thank you to all the sisters who took great care of Sr Laeta in her later years in life. She was so well cared for. We were fortunate to visit her in Feb this year. May her wonderful Soul Rest in Peace
