Fr Andrew Moras (77), Priest of the Diocese of Aurangabad, Maharashtra, son of the late Pascal Moras and the late Pascin Moras (Gurpur parish), brother of the late Eliza D'Souza, the late Eprojin Alice Sequeria, the late Cecilia Pinto, Fr Felix Moras (Nagpur Arch Diocese) and the late Robert Moras, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023.

Funeral rites would be held together with Mass on Tuesday, October 10, at 3.00 pm in St Francis De Sales Cathedral, Aurangabad, Maharashtra.

Fr Andrew Moras did his priestly formation at St Charles Seminary, Nagpur and was ordained priest on 24th of October, 1974 for the Diocese of Amravati.

Dear Fr. Felix and members of the Moras family Kindly accept our heartfelt sympathies on the demise of Fr. Andrew Moras. A simple, humble and affectionate priest with lots of good humor from Shet family in Gurpur. Very well known to our household, would video call me often and chat with me for long hours. Every time in the conversation, he would go down the memory lane with highlights of his hometown in Gurpur, the schools he attended (Rosa Mystica and St. Joseph's), his classmates and Fr. Rodrigues's time in Gurpur. His frequent recital of 'baye, baye' in the conversation still echoes in my ears. Never even thought in my dreams that the end would come so soon to him. His close bond with his older brother Fr. Felix, nieces, nephews and rest of the Moras family is too amazing. We will miss him dearly. Heartfelt condolences to dear Fr Felix, nieces, nephews, the diocese of Aurangabad and all his loving one's. Fr Andrew was a prayerful person, kind, humble & his words were clean as clean as how he appeared on the outside. Fr Andrew & Fr Felix - we've had fondest memories with you both. On every vacation you'd visit us until 2015, after which due to your health you'll restricted your movement. However it was such a pleasure to watch you'll even from a distance. Your presence always emitted peace. You were so forgiving and a great priest. A priest who is rare to find and stands precious. Its a great loss & sad to know about this loss.
