I’v worked with Ron at Riggs Bank for over 12 years and we still kept in contact after the Bank was sold. Ron was always happy and always ready to help in any way that he could. He was like a big brother. Aaron you will be greatly missed. Rest in peace my brother and hope that we’ll meet again.

I met Ron out walking one day about ten years ago. He was doing push-ups on the corner near my house. We would run into each other occasionally and stop to chat. Ron was such a nice man, always friendly and smiling. He would attend the 6:30 mass at Queen of Apostles Church; afterwards we'd discuss "Jeopardy" from the night before. He will be missed in our neighborhood. God bless you, Ron. You are in my prayers.

Rob was our neighbor, and was a true gem in a neighborhood of diverse eccentrics. As noted by many others, Ron was a bon vivant with a great smile, a hearty laugh, and the soul of a saint. I would walk past his house just about every day and jokingly ask him if his boat in the driveway would ever sail. He was a good neighbor, never had a bad thing to say about anyone, and probably woke up every morning with a smile on his face. We will miss him so much. Ron- Rest In Peace. I will keep an eye on Al for you.

Saddened by the sudden and untimely demise of my College, Batch, Sacred Heart Hostel and room mate Ronny. I knew Ronny only for 3yeard form for 1st year to the final year B.Com and during these three years we were close friends. Luck brought us close in the final year as we became roommates in the hostel and during this period came to know Ronny more closely. He was a man of few words bore life's early losses patiently but never showed it others. He was full of energy, patient and kind and I don't remember he having hurt anyone. Ronny was a great sports man represented the college in Vollyball and pole vault. I had the privilege of playing and representing the college in Vollyball along with Ronny. After our final exam we went in two directions Ronny to Bajpe his home town and to Kampala to start his carrier and myself to Mumbai and to Muscat where came in contact Richie/Veera Pinto Ronny's uncle who was his friend, guide, advisor and philosopher whom Ronny use to speake highly during our college days. May Ronny's soul rest in peace and may the Lord grant him eternal bliss in the Heavenly Jerusalem and may he console all dear and near ones. Good bye Ronny till we meet again after the completion on our earthly journey.

Heartfelt condolences to the extended family of Ronnie. We were very sad to hear about his passing. Though I (Jessie) hail from the same place as Ronnie, Bajpe, our friendship grew in Kampala, Uganda as he was a good friend of my brother, Flavian. He was a frequent visitor to our place, and he and Flavian spent happy times together as friends. He was a caring and affectionate gentleman, and it was always a pleasure chatting with him on the phone once he moved to Virginia. Whenever he visited Canada to see his cousins, he made it a point to see us. We will miss him. Rest in Peace Ronnie. Thank you, Alban and family for being there for Ronnie in his last days.

We were shocked to learn that Rony has passed away. Our heartfelt sympathies to all extended family members. We lost a great gem of a person. Rony and I grew up together. We were across the street from each other at Bajpe. We were classmates in high school at Bajpe (St. Joseph’s High School) and in college (St. Aloysius College, Mangalore) as well. While in college, we stayed at Sacred Heart Hostel. We were best friends all thru our growing up. We will miss him. I was so fortunate to visit him a few times whenever I visited Washington DC and Virginia from 1978 thru last year (2021). We used to have long conversations over the phone. Rony was such a loving, kind, gentle and generous person. Thank you, Alban and family for taking care of Rony and giving him good company. Ronnie was my first cousin. His mom was my Dad's sister. Ronnie and my family connected after we moved to Canada from Karachi. And what a blessing and joy and comfort it was to spend time with him. His kindness and generosity and caring spirit had no bounds. In recent time we were fortunate to spend time with him whenever he visited us in Toronto or vice versa. We would be smothered with his hospitality and fun nature. Our family's deep gratitude to Alban and his wife for taking such good care of him and cooking all those delicious (Mangalorean style) meals for him. Thank you Alban. How I wish we had a chance to say goodbye to him. My family and I are just heart broken, especially myself as I was in constant touch with him. Ronnie, you will be missed beyond words. And, I will miss all those upbeat calls and your standing invitation to visit you in Washington. Life will never be the same. We sisters in Toronto will always have a void in our lives. It came as a rude shock to us in the early hours of yesterday morning (IST) to hear of the sad demise of Rony. We've truly lost a gem of a person. Have no hesitation in calling him a legend. Rony was such a prominent member of our family - much loved and respected. Had the fortune of spending 4 days with him in the US in 2016 and he made such a lasting impression on our lives. That was the first time I was meeting him, and I was just a bit unsure of how I'd converse with him....but within less than a minute, we gelled so well and I felt so comfortable talking to him... He was always full of warmth, genuine love, friendliness and helping nature. It was always a pleasure speaking to him in person or on the phone. If I had to hand pick 3 or 4 persons who've been my role models as far as kindness, cheerfulness and goodness go, dear Rony's name would feature right up there in that list. We thank the Lord for giving us such a lovely human being, and now, with folded hands, ask Him to grant the soul of our beloved Rony eternal rest. Miss you dear Rony, especially your loving smile. Thank you Alban for taking care and being such a nice companion and support to Ron 🙏

He was not only a close friend to me, but also with all my family. I am happy my sons had the opportunity to meet him and enjoy his company.
