Celine Martha Pinto (81), Ex-PWD Superintendent, daughter of the late Francis and the late Josephine Pinto, Kavoor, aunt of Charlotte and Ronald Gonsalves (Shivabagh), passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.

Mortal remains will be brought to St Sebastian Church, Bendur, Mangalore on Thursday, November 10 at 2.30pm for public homage, followed by Mass at 3.30pm.

Heartfelt condolences to all the family members and fellow friends of our dear Celine. Yes. Celine lead a very good and noble life besides being very spiritual, simple, disciplined, loving, caring, soft spoken and helpful. Systematic and very good worker while at PWD, Mangalore Office so also very active member in our Bendur Parish. Her role in the Church Choir, Liturgical Services and Catholic Sabha cannot be forgotten. In the recent years she totally dedicated to take care of her niece Charlotte whose health is not good and she took her care in the best possible way despite her own old age. She will definitely leave behind a rich legacy of love and all that she did while she was working in the Government Department, her services at St. Sebastian Church Bendur Parish and the last few years she dedicated herself as a caretaker. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord, let perpetual light shine upon her, may her soul rest in peace and heavenly joy. Sharing in your grief, Oswald & Sheba Fernandes and family (Bendur, Mangalore).
