Flight Lieutenant Ronald Kevin Serrao (26) of the Indian Air Force, husband of Flight Lieutenant Deepika, son of Lt Lol John and Dr Jessica Serrao and brother of Kenneth (+ Vandana), passed away in a tragic aircraft crash near Jaisalmer, Rajasthan on Thursday, January 18.
Mortal remains are expected to arrive by a special IAF plance at Mangalore airport around 12 noon on Saturday, January 20.
Special note: If the IAF plance arrives in Mangalore in time, the body will be brought home at once and the funeral cortege will leave residence 'The Nest', Kuchikaad Road, Kalpane, Kulshekar for Holy Cross Church, Cordel-Kulshekar at 3-00 pm, followed by Mass at 3-30 pm.
Should there be any delay in arrival, the cortege will leave at 4-30 pm, followed by Mass at 5-00 pm.
In view of the armed forces formalities like guard of honour etc. those attending the funeral are requested to observe the protocol requirements and cooperate with the authorities.
