She was born in Permude in 1903 as daughter of Ignatius Immanuel D'Souza and Magdalene Rodrigues. She joined the religious order in 1926.
Her centenary birthday had been celebrated in Kundapur last year. Earlier she had served in Lady Hill Convent and St Ann's Convent in Mangalore and Goretti Convent, Kemmannu and St Theresa Convent in Kerala. She had been living in Kundapur for the last 37 years. She leaves behind four brothers and two sisters.
