Sr Moira (83) of the Apostolic Carmel congregation - baptsmally Doris Aloysia Saldanha - daughter of the late Theobald and Cecilia Saldanha, sister of the late Renee Coelho (wife of the late Jossie Coelho), Sr Marita AC (Goa), Sr Marilyn AC (Kolkata), and Patsy Rego (+ Lindsay Rego - Bangalore), and maternal aunt of Elaine Fernandes (editor, Women Vision, Daijiworld.com), passed away in St Ann's Convent, Mangalore on Saturday, April 29
Funeral Mass will be held in the St Ann's Chapel at 9-30 am on April 30, followed by interment in St Ann's Convent cemetery.
Sr Moira was to complete 60 years of religious profession on May 11, 2006.
Coincidentally, she passed away on the 140th birthday of her late grandfather P F X Saldanha.
