Mangalore, Mar 27 : Veena Victoria Correa nee Monteiro (41), wife of Eric Correa (Canara Power Services, Kottara Chowki) and mother of Simmonna and Shawn, daughter of Clara and the late Julian Monteiro (Mercara Hill, Bendur), sister of Ivan / Fatima (Juliara Engineering), Zeena / Noel Lewis, Lorna / Conald D'Souza (Genesis, Jeppu) and Meena / Joel Pereira (Bijai), passed away on March 27 following illness.
She had served as a English Professor in St. Aloysius Evening College, Moti Mahal College of Hotel Management, Laxmi College of Physiotheraphy, Pandyaraj Ballal Nursing College, Fr Muller’s College of Nursing, St Joseph’s Engg College, Vamanjoor, St Joseph’s Seminary, Jeppu and various Catholic institutions and was very popular among her students.
Funeral cortege leaves residence 'Celina Mansion', opp. Vamanjoor church, for the Church of St Joseph the Worker, Vamanjoor at 4-00 pm on Wednesday, March 29.
