Charles Lobo (91), husband of Laura Lobo, father of Miriam / Alphonse & Vivek, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014.

Funeral cortege leaves residence "Padua" S L Mathias Road, Falnir (next to Vishwas Residency) on Tuesday, April 15 for Our Lady of Miracles Church, Milagres, Mangalore at 10.00 am. Mass at 10.30 a.m.

Charles Lobo was my grand-uncle...He was the son of my great grandfather SALVADOR LOBO the legend of Valencia and the architect of Valencia Church...He was also classmate in school of my uncle HARRY and my father MICHEAL .....affectionately known as UNCLE TOM he lived in Mumbai until his retirement as a Central Govt Gazetted officer...A nice jolly and lovable person he will always be remembered for his warm smile ... My condolences to Aunty Laura and her two children

I have known Charles for a long time and I even recall that he lived a large home by the side of St. Vincent's Church in Valencia. I used to see him at times, but did not see for a while and I was wondering where he could be.

I am indeed sorry to learn of his demise and offer his bereaved family my sincere sympathies.

May The Soul of the dear departed rest in Peace.
