David Wilson Cornelio Cunha (22), son of Caroline and the late Vivian Cunha, and brother of Wilma / Jeethan and Vijeth, hailing from Kankanady Guttu of Capitanio area in the city, died in a tragic road accident near Kudupu on the outskirts of the city on Friday.
David was a III year Mechanical Engineering student of St Joseph's Engineering College, Vamanjoor here, and was riding his motorbike from the city towards Vamanjoor. A speeding lorry hit his vehicle near a steep turn between Kudupu and Mangala Jyoti school. Critically injured, David was rushed to a hospital but died on the way.
The college sources said David had recently taken a transfer from another college.
