Kinnigoli, June 19: Elsie Moras, better known as Elsie Teacher, passed away at 6-00 am on Saturday, June 18 at Fr Muller's, Kankanady, of chronic illness. Her funeral was held at the church of Immaculate Conception, Kinnigoli at 5-00 pm the same day. She had served the Pompeii High School and Junior Colleage and other schools before retiring.
Elsie Teacher was the eldest daughter among the nine children of the late Mary and Sebastian Moras and was a spinster. She was considered the pillar of the family who was instrumental in shaping up the future of the younger siblings and hence was held in high esteem by her family and friends alike. She was fondly respected for her graceful persona and compassion towards her students and parishioners, and more specifically revered by the inmates of ‘Cosesaaum vardo’. Daijiworld joins her well wishers and students spread around the world in praying for a peaceful heavenly abode for her and in bidding ‘adeus’ from this mortal world.
