Sr M Arilda AC nee Victoria Silva (86), passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Fr Muller Hospital, Kankanady, Mangalore.

Funeral on Wednesday, September 7 at 4.00 pm in Annunciation Convent, Ladyhill, Urwa, Mangalore.

Sr Arilda was born on December 23, 1924 at Kulshekar, Mangalore. She is second in the family of 11 children. Her parents were the late Sylvester D’Silva and Mary Pinto. She has a sister Sr Carmen Mary AC who is working in Jamshedpur. Sr Arilda was very affectionate, loving, thoughtful, kind, caring and hard working. She loved the poor and the little ones. She was closely knit with all her family members
