Victor M W Currie (70), husband of Rosemary Currie, father of Vishal and grandfather of Viola, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 in Mangalore. Siblings: Ozzie / Cliffy / Lilly & Joe (all late).

Mortal Remains will be available for viewing in St Sebastian’s Church, Bendoor, Mangalore at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2011. Funeral Mass at 10.30 a.m. followed by burial at St Sebastian’s cemetery.

Victor (a.k.a. Vicco to family and Jack to friends) was born in Rangoon, Burma and grew up in Mangalore. He studied in Aloysius School, Mangalore and St. Joseph’s Bangalore. After his engineering, he worked for TATA TELCO and ran his own Automobile garage for several years before working in the Saudi Arabia for 12 years and retiring in 1995.
