Frederick Mascarenhas (93), son of the late Louis Mascarenhas and the late Stephany nee D'Sa of Lower Bendore, Mangalore, husband of Mary, father of Clarence, Terence, Briance, Genevieve and Giovanni, brother of Mother Aloysia and Molly, passed away on April 27, 2011.

Frederick had been honoured by Pope Paul VI with a Knighthood of St Gregory the Great for his service to the Catholic Church. He was a dedicated employee of Air India, rising to senior management after assignments in Geneva, Rome, Kuwait, Madras and Bombay (now Mumbai).
