Loy Larry Danthi (27), son of the late John Danthi and Florine Danthi, brother of Leon, Laveena /Rohan Crasta and Louella/ Vinay D’Sa, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2011.

Funeral cortege leaves residence for St Francis Xavier Church, Udyavar on Wednesday, April 6 at 3.30 pm. Mass at 4.00 pm.

Karkala: Youth Dies in Accident

Karkala, Apr 6: Loy Larry Danthi (27), son of Florin Danti from Udyavar near Udupi, lost his life in an accident that occurred on Monday April 4. The accident occurred at Kukkundoor Anchinakatte in the taluk, when the motor bike Larry was riding towards Karkala, was hit by a truck that came at great speed from the opposite direction.

Danthi was an active member of the Indian Catholic Youth Movement’s St Francis Xavier Church Udyavar unit. He is survived by mother, two sisters, and a brother.

After getting trained as electrician in St Aloysius Technical Training institute, he had worked in Dubai for two years. Three months back, he had opened a cyber and Xerox centre near Karkala taluk office.
