Alex Miranda (88), originally from Mangalore, settled in Bangalore since 1957 (former employee of Karnataka government), son of the late Salvadore Miranda and the late Lucy Miranda, husband of Therese Miranda, father of Rohan Miranda and Movin Miranda, father-in-law of Pearl Miranda and Sonia Miranda, grandfather of Roshni, Ratan and Nicole, brother of S S Prabhu (Sathu Prabhu), Rudolph Miranda, Jessy D'Souza, the late Arthur Miranda and the late Dorothy Menezes, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2010.

Funeral in St Patrick’s Church, Bangalore on Thursday, November 25 at 2.00 pm.

Uncle Miranda was known to me from the day I landed in Bangalore in 1978. He was hard working and very helpful in social circle. He was always jovial. It is shocking that he passed away on 23rd after a brief illnes. Our condolences to his family. May his soul Rest in Peace.
