Sr Dolorine BS (80), Bethany Sister, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Santa Cruz Convent, Kulshekar.

Funeral will be held in Holy Cross Church, Kulshekar, Mangalore at 4.00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 1.

Sr Dolorine was born at Kottayam Dist, Kerala on 18.12.1930 to the late Zacharia Thomas and the late Mary Thomas.

She suffered from extensive Lymphoma of the skin. She was on treatment since three months. Sr Dolorine is known for her life of holiness, piety, simplicity and poverty.

Sr Dolorine was my mentor, mother, chechy, sister, aunty and Dolorine. She shaped me, she loved me like a mother. She prayed for me, she took fasting for me, she lead a simple and poverty life for me. Not only for me , but for every body she met in her 80 years life.
