Sr M Premiot B S (Felcy Crasta) (49), Padukone, sixth child of late Jerome Crasta and Maria Magdalena Mendonca, sister of Florine/Eusebius Furtado, Prescilla/John Gonsalves, late Benedict, Daisy/John Crasta, Peter/Hazel Crasta, Nirmala/Robert Fernandes, Nelson/Jacintha and late Wilson/Pramila, passed away on Sunday August 29, 2010 in Guwahati, Assam.

The funeral will be held at Bethany Provincialate, Guwahati on Tuesday August 31.

Sr Premiot joined the Congregation of the Sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany in 1977 and made her first profession in 1982 and final profession in 1988. She rendered service in the North Eastern communities of the Congregation in Kolasib, Aizawl, Sihphir, Behala and Kolkata as teacher, hostel-warden, headmistress, and superior.

She was quiet by nature and kind at heart. Being cheerful had a pleasant approach towards students and people. She had tremendous capacity for endurance and was able to put up with all inconveniences and tensions of life. She was committed and loyal to the institution wherever she served.

Yesterday we were, today we are, but tomorrow will we be? YES? NO? Unanswerable question! Miles away from parents, brothers and sisters for years together. Made unknown people her own brothers and sisters, friends. No room to make foes.Selfless and sacrificing. Not self - centred, but christ-centered. Not glory - oriented, but people-oriented. Once in three years : Joy of meeting mother and father ( if lucky enough), and finally saying bye...from such a long distance! Dear Sr.Premiot, may you always be loved by all in prayers. Eternal Rest To You and your dear ones who have gone before you.
