John D’Souza (71), son of the late Thomas and Marceline D’Souza, Kanapadag, Mangalore, brother of the late Julian, Stella, Edwin, Sr Irene and Maria Louisa, passed away in Chicago, USA on Monday, August 16, 2010. John was a resident of Chicago for the last 26 years.

Wake / Visitation will be at Oehler Funeral Home. 2099 Miner St, Des Plaines, IL 60016. Phone # 1-847--824-5155 it will on Friday, August 20 from 3.00 pm - 9.00 pm. Funeral Service is on Saturday, August 21. Meet at the Funeral Home at 9.00 am. From there we will follow the Hurst to Our Lady of Ransom Church about 3 miles away. Address of the church is : Our Lady of Ransom 8300 Greenwood Ave Niles, Il 60714. Phone # 1-847-696-2994. Service will begin at 10.00 am. after that Casket will be Trasported to Mary Hill Cemetery in Niles for Burial.

Just 3 months back when I lost my husband, you came here to console me. You stood besides me & comforted me. Today, it’s my turn to comfort you. Though I am very far away from you, my thoughts & prayers are with you. May the comfort of God help you during this difficult time. Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow. My sincere condolences to you, children & Bai. May Almighty Lord grant Johny eternal rest & may his soul rest in peace.
