Vincent Mathias (59), Prop. Rondezvous Café Restaurant, Pondicherry, son of the late Sylvester Mathias, husband of Jessica Mathias, father of Vanessa and Valerie, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2010.

Funeral cortège leaves residence “Bouganvilla”, Middle Street Chinna, Kalapet, Opp. Pondicherry University, Gate No.1 for Our Lady of Angels Church, Pondicherry on Tuesday, June 29 at 11.00 am.

Our heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of Vincent Mathias, we had visited Pondicherry in 2007 and could not find a place/hotel to stay. As soon as he spotted us near his hotel gate he realised that we were mangaloreans and he called us in and arranged for a room. He treated us like family for the rest of our stay at his place. We will never forget him. May his soul rest in peace.
