Sr Mary Assumpta (85), Franciscan Servants of Mary, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2010.

Mortal Remains will be kept at Nazareth Convent Chapel, Balmatta from 1.00 p.m to 2.30 p.m. on Saturday, February 6. The funeral Mass will be offered at the Nazareth Convent Chapel at 3.00 p.m. after which the cortege leaves for the cemetry of our Lady of Miracles Church, Milagres, Mangalore.

It was shocking to hear of the sad & sudden demise of dear Sr. Assumpta Fsm.As neighbours I had the opportunity of studying in Nazareth convent under the loving care & protection of dear Sr.Assumpta.I'm sure many pupils of yesteryears & recent will share the same memories that I share.Now all that I can offer are my heartfelt condolences to all the sisters of the convent & my humble prayers for the repose of her soul.May the Good Lord grant her eternal rest in His garden of love & peace.
