JOHN BAPTIST MADTHA (62), retired superintendent of Central Excise, husband of Catherine Rodrigues, father of Nirmala/Anil, and Roshan (former president, ICYM, Central unit)/Pramila, grandfather of Thrisha, Thea and Rahul, brother of the late Professor William Madtha/Celine (Dharwad), Mary/Maurice Cutinho (Puttur), the late Vincy/Leena (Paneer-Ullal), Sr Matilda AC (Goa), Sr Premalata AC (Stella Maris, Ullal), Cyril/Rita nee Lobo (Bangalore), Rosaline/Joseph Mathias (Mumbai), Terry/Patrick Aranha (Bangalore), and Valerian/Helen (Vittal), passed away on December 31, 2004.

Funeral will be held at 3-30 pm on Sunday, January 2, 2005 in the Church of Our Lady of Dolours, Vittal, Bantwal taluk.
