John Louis Machado (Karkala) (81), husband of Nelly Machado, father of Antony / Zelma, Molly / Robert, Jane / Harold, Jessy / Melwyn, Reena / Steevan, Joyce / Norbert and 15 Grandsons, passed away on Tuesday October 6, 2009.

Funeral cortège leaves ‘Medha Apartment' # 103, Mallikatta for St Sebastian Church, Bendur on Tuesday October 6 at 4-30 p.m. Mass at 5:00 pm.

He was a great mentor & a great human being . Was more than a divine presence for me when I used to stay under his wings back in 90's at karkala during my college days in NITTE. My extremely belated condolences to his family . Cam eto know only today about this that too in a flash while sitting back at office.

Our Puppa was a wonderful and simple human being, a loving Dad to 6 naughty children, an iconic Grandfather of 15 Grandsons !(will never forget his Boodi-Cane Stick). He was Tough and Strong from the outside, gentle and warm on the inside. A Man of great deeds and Kindness to both friends and Enemies. He had a strong will power and a heart of Gold.
