Blanche Noronha (69), daughter of the late Rosario Noronha (formerly of St Philomena's Institutions, Mysore - son of John Noronha and Anna Rangel of Virajpet, Coorg origin) and the late Evelyn Noronha nee Andrade, granddaughter of the late Peter Francis Andrade and Carmine Serrao of Parladka, Puttur origin), wife of Aloysius Noronha of Aynavaram, Chennai, sister of the late Lionel ( + Patricia Mathias) and the late Blaise ( + Miriam nee Pereira, Chennai / Bangalore) and mother of Dr Winston ( + Veena Castelino), Dr Glen ( + Linh) and Crystal ( + Raj), passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2008.

Funeral cortege leaves residence E/1 Poshi Manor, 60 Chetty Street, Aynavaram, Chennai 600 023 at 10 am on Monday, June 2, followed by funeral service and interment in Kilpauk cemetery.

Dear Louis and children, our heartfelt sympathies on Blanche's passing away. We have fond memories of time spent together as kids in Coorg and Mysore. Uncle Rosario and Aunty Evelyn and my parents were a close knit family. We remember Lionel and Blaise who are not amidst us anymore. May all the dear departed rest in eternal peace. Our heartfelt Condolences to the Noronha family on the sad demise of Blanche .Her late father Mr.Rosario Noronha was very popular and famous at the St.Philomena's Institutions , Mysore. Being family friends for almost a century , we have very fond memories to cherish of Blanche and her family .May God grant her soul eternal rest and comfort to the family.
