DEVADAS ATTAVAR (65), senior theatre artiste, passed away on September 18 after a brief illness.
Attavar had served in stage activities for over 25 years. An active member of Attavar Friends' Circle, he had acted in the theatre groups of Dr Sanjiva Dandekeri, Machhendranath Ullal, Machhendranath Pandeshwar and other. Besides having acted in over 100 plays, he also played important roles in Tulu movies like Bayyamallige, Bellidota and Tulunada Siri.
