Ambrose D'Silva (56), husband of Suzanna D'Silva, father of Ashlyn, Joylyn and Sherlyn, brother of Lilly / Andrew Pinto, Gabriel / Hilda Dsilva, Eugene / Alphonse D'Sa, Jacintha / Emmanual D'Souza and Valerian / Felcy D'Silva, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

Funeral rites will be held on Friday, August 21. Funeral cortege will leave the residence, ''Jaass Ville'' for Infant Jesus Church Modankap, Bantwal at 3.00 pm, followed by funeral Mass at 3.30 pm.

It is hard to believe that Ambrose is no more, especially at such a young age of 56. I had the privilege of meeting him several times when I visited my friend Pradeep in Dubai. He was a kind-hearted, warm and helpful person, and I will always remember him with fondness and respect. My heartfelt condolences to his wife, children and all his family members. May the Lord give them the strength, courage and comfort to bear this great loss. May Ambrose’s soul rest in eternal peace.

Dear Mamu, I still cannot believe that you have left us so soon. There is only one question that keeps coming back to my heart.why did you have to leave us at such an early age?You were the backbone of our family and a pillar of strength to so many people around you. You were such a strong, kind and wonderful person, always there for everyone, and it is so difficult to imagine our lives without you. I keep wondering why God chose to take someone who was so deeply loved and needed by so many of us. I came to know him while we were working at Lamprell. He was a truly kind and genuine person, and technically very knowledgeable in his field. It is extremely sad to hear of his passing. He served as Deputy Manager in the O&M Department at Lamprell and earned the respect of everyone who worked with him. May his soul rest in peace.
