Alex George Lobo (82), husband of Christine Lobo, son of the late Saturine and Edwardina Lobo, father of Janet/John, Lavina/the late Felix, Anil/Shanthi and Lorna/Arther, grandfather of Joyan, Joshua, Leera, Avith, Ashley Shalom and Shawn, brother of the late Charles Elias Lobo, the late Albert Lobo, Alice Almeida, the late Nelly D’Souza, Lawrence Lobo, Denis Lobo, Mary Castelino and Sr Asha Lobo AC, passed away on January 5, 2026.

Mortal remains will be kept for viewing at the residence Highland Villa, Nakre, on Wednesday January 7 from 2.30 pm onwards. Funeral cortege leaves residence for Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Nakre, Karkala at 3.30 pm. Mass at 4.00 pm.

My dearest Manjal/Highland family of Lobo's This my uncle Alex/Alsu who was a jolly gentleman, always having fun, Sadly, he is no more, now with his parents and other siblings, He was a very hard-working gentleman, took care of the "gadhays and gorva" and the whole property. On behalf of my family Shiela, Gino, David and myself Rico, our children and grandchildren and all other members of the extended family our heartfelt condolences to our superhero uncle Alex, we pray that Jesus may grant you eternal peace and your family be given the strength to bear our uncle's loss, RIP dearest uncle Alex, you will always be remembered and in our hearts.
