WALTER CRASTA (65), retired headmaster, Government Higher Primary School, Vittal, Bantwal taluk, son of Basic Crasta, husband of Severine nee D'Mello (Vittal), passed away on September 12 in a hospital in Mangalore after a brief illness. Funeral cortege leaves residence at Katla, near Chokkabettu Bus Stand, Suratkal for the Church of Sacred Heart, Suratkal at 3 pm on Monday, September 13.
He had served as teacher in different school for over 3 decades, finally retiring as headmaster of the higher primary school in Vittal. He leaves behind a son and a daughter.
