Dr. Felix Misquith, (84) of Megrolli / Bangalore , died in New York, U.S.A. on November 2, 2007.

Felix Misquith, an alumnus of Mysore medical school, was the joint director of medical services of Karnataka state until retirement. He was trained as ENT surgeon in New York, the love for his country made him go back and serve. After his wife passed away in 1992, Dr Felix returned to the U.S.A. to be with his children.

He is survived by his four children, Dr Eunice D'Souza, Dr Eugene Misquith, Dr Rowena Lobo and Regina Sakhrani.

Services to be held in Forest Hills, New York:
Wake from 4pm to 7pm Forest Hills, New York on Sunday, Nov 4
Funeral at Our Lady Queen of Martyr's, Forest Hills NY on Tuesday, Nov 6 at 9:30 am.

I offer my sincere condolences to the family on your profound loss. I was privileged to know Feli Uncle before the Lord called him home and I will always remember his warm smile. I know it is hard to carry on in moments of such terrible sadness, but the pain you feel in your loss is proportional to the blessing that Feli was in your life. Let us all celebrate a life well-lived and take comfort in the assurance that we will see Feli again in eternity. Feli has received his prize for which the race is run and awaits us in heaven with all the saints before him. May his memory guide us as we run our own races toward a reunion at the finish line.
