About Edward

Formerly a resident of Trasi, Edward shifted to Kundapur with his family a few years ago, as his business was located at Kundapur.

Son of Louis Pais and the late Valerin Pais, Edward originally hailed from Anagally.

He did his primary education in St Philomina Orphanage organization, Mysore.

After completing his SSLC at Mysore, Edward migrated to Poona, for a better future with an idea of “earn and learn”. He joined an automobile shop and worked hard during the day and did his PUC in a night College at Poona.

With the help of a family member, Edward left for Saudi Arabia and worked there for 10 Years. As he thought of starting business in his mother land, he came to Trasi in Kundapur and set up an automobile shop there in the year 1985, with a capital of Rs. 25,000 under the name of “Edward Motors”, a very famous landmark in Udupi district.

With a view to expanding his business, he also set up his business in Koteshwar in the year 1995, under the name of “Edward Automobile” and in 2001 a new venture was started under the name of “Edward Enterprises”. In the year 2005, he had stepped in to another business venture named as “Edward Bearing House”. And right now, a new business called “New Edward Enterprises” is on the anvil.

For the last few months, Edward was not in good health. Yet with faith in God, he never bothered about his health as he believed in work is worship. So with a thankful heart to God and always with a good word in his neighborhood, Edward continued his earthly journey to eternal life.
