Leena Jeevan (17), daughter of Robert D'Souza and Flora D'Souza, of Kallarody near Bengapadavu, passed away. She was suffering from various ailments since birth, and had to depend on others even to move around.

The cause of her ailments is suspected to have been the spraying of Endosulphan in farms and fields in the region.
