Rosa Thomas (95), mother of Bishop Lawrence Mukkuzhy of Beltangady, passed away on September 11, 2007, at the residence of her son M T Thomas at Arantodu, Sullia.

Funeral rites took place in Mother Teresa Church, Sullia on Wednesday, September 12 afternoon.

The ceremony was attended by three bishops, over a hundred priests, over a hundred nuns and a congregation of over 2,000.
