Wilfred Piedade Lobo (56), employed with Intercare Ltd., Sharjah (UAE), husband of Theresa, father of Clinton and Crystal, and brother of Godfred (UK), William (Pezar), Gerald (Fujairah), Premia, Maria (Bangalore) and Nirmala (Pezar), died of prolonged illness at Al Tawam Hospital in Al Ain (UAE).

Embalming at Jimmy Hospital in Al Ain today Thursday 2nd August at 5:00 p.m.

Funeral Cortege leaves Residence at Pezar fro St Joseph's Church, Pezar at 3:30 pm on Sunday, August 5.

Dad I love you alot. Wherever you are dad I know your watching me and even though you have left us but you have passed on your astonishing wthin me and its dwelling in me every minute. 2 Corinthians 4:14 because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you in his presence. 2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. I am sure Uncle Wilfred is at Home with the Lord. The Lord will say "Welcome Home, you faithful servant." Uncle was the how we addressed him. Known to us from childhood, he was a very Jovial and Cheerful Man. He would take our pranks in his side and love the girls lot more than the nephews. I still remember some of his jokes. Bdling for building, Grand ha ! Ha ! and his unusal lovely laugh. Always brought the magazines for us Eve's Weekly and Poinari was his favourite. I surely know Uncle is at home with our Lord. His kind gentleness will never be forgotton. He fought the good fight of Faith and has won the race. We will miss you. -

Dear Theresa and Family, HEART FILLED WITH SYMPATHY TO YOU AT THE LOSS OF YOUR BELOVED WILFRED. May his soul rest in peace. A Holy Sacrifice of the Mass was celebrated here at the Foothills Hospital chapel on Tuesday, July 31, the feast day of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the the Society of Jesus for the soul of Wilfred at noon time local. I had e-mailed my condolences to Henry who had earlier e-mailed me about the death of Wilfred after a very brave fight with cancer. We have been praying for him for past 2 years or more. I am a good family friend and was the Parish Priest of Jessy, Francis and Robert Miranda of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, until the month of June 2007 when I was moved. I had also flown to Scotland in July 2004, three years ago to baptize their son, Robert Felix Miranda, your nephew. Please accept this sincere condolences from a friend priest of your family even though we have not met, yet I know all about you through Jessy and Henry. Take care and may God comfort you at this time. I met Jessy and Francis yesterday for a funeral of a former parishioner of mine and good friend of Jessy's. They just returned back from Ontario as they had taken Boliwario to meet Francis' side of the family. I will be visiting them for a luncheon on Saturday, August 4, 2007. So I will have a chat with Jessy and find out more about what transpired between you people and wilfred before he breathed his last. Take care and know that God loves you and wants you to be consoled. Wilfred suffered a lot but now he is with God where his pain has come to an end for eternity. Peace! Fr. Alfredo.

wilfred uncle was a very good man. a man who has always done good in his life,always been ready to help anyone in need .i have seen uncle since my childhood, and according to me he has been an excellent husband and above all a wonderful father .may his soul rest in peace .amen
