We were so saddened with the news and our hearts are heavy. You have been very dear to me and my boys, Ziad and Iyad, and looked after them as if they were your own. You gave them love and caring like no other for which we are so thankful. We attended your wedding to Rita as we participated in that blessed event as your family. Dearest Philip, I have always thought of you so fondly and had been wondering about you recently. I did an extensive search and found this sad news. You were our nanny (me and my brother Ziad) for several years and looked after us like a father and big brother in Kuwait. I am very saddened by this news. My deepest condolences to Rita and the rest of your family for this loss. My mother Laurice, made your signature chicken curry dish last week. As soon as I tasted it and said this is Philip’s recipe. We have endless fond memories of you and today, I am very saddened that I did not get a chance to connect with you again. May you rest in eternal peace my dear Philip. You will always be in my heart.
