Ivan Leslie Rego (65), son of the late James Rego and the late Grace Rego, husband of Meena Rego, father of Irel Rego, brother of Felly, Jessie, Dolphy, Mildred, Maria, George, Sandra and Wilson, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023.

Mortal remains will be brought to Holy Cross Church, Cordel Kulshekar, Mangalore for public viewing at 10:00 am on Wednesday May 17, followed by Mass at 10:30 am.

I knew Ivan when I was a child playing cricket in the compound of his grandmother house when we went for holidays to Mangalore’ as his Uncle Mickey and my dad Chrissy Correa were best friends. I lost connections with him and some of his siblings but some I have met recently. He has gone to better place and may his soul rest in peace . My brother Pramod will be attending the funeral and I have asked him to pass on my condolences to the family members.
