Lawrence Castelino (90), husband of the late Angelino Pinto, father of the late Jerome, Sr Severine, BS, the late John A/Cecilia, the late Aloysius, George/Reena, Sr Agnes Mary, BS, Fr Balthazar, Paris (France), Leena/Gilbert, Ronald/Josephine and Juliana/Xavier passed away on Thursday May 24.

Funeral cortege leaves residence "Nisarga", Kalanjali Compound for 'the Immaculate Heart' Church, Nakre at 3.30 pm on Saturday May 26. Funeral mass will be at 4 pm.

I got shock when I received this sad news from my best friend Austin Lobo he too hails from Nakre.
Mr.Castelino was very kind and wise man. I know him since May 1969/ He and his whole family members are very good in helping hand whatever
possible from their side. His son
late Mr. Aloysius my best friend in
Mumbai 1976-79.
Mr.Lawrance Castelino was the right hand, best friend, good co-operative with late Nakre Priest Fr. Andrew Rodrigues. I still remember and sill imagine the place where Fr.Andrew and he stood near the electric pillar and I too was
near with them, it was about 5pm that day in 1969 he said to his
Parish Priest, Fr, do not worry about the money require for the church building. I will be with you and let us go to Bombay for the collection. That time Bombay was
very popular. Then within three days he and Fr.Andrew went to Bombay for church collection.
One of his sons Mr. George is very
good Samarithan and best teacher
in Karnataka, received the Medal
from Central Government for his
best teachings, best head master of
Nakre. May Mr. Lawrance's soul rest in peace. I never forget to pray for his soul till my last breath in this world during my personnel conversation with Jesus at the
Blessed Sacrament.I have stayed three years in Nakre Parish (1972 till 1975)during this period I have seen the good deeds of Mr. Castelino. Indeed today he is in heaven and he will surely pray for us through the intercession of Jesus. my condolences to his whole
