Sr M Carmelita BS (88) nee Cecilia Crasta of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany, Mangalore, daughter of the late Jerome Crasta and the late Remedia Lewis belonging to Immaculate Conception of Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Gangolli of Udupi Diocese passed away at Rosa Mystica Convent, Kinnikambla, on January 1, 2023.

Funeral service will be held at Rosa Mystica Convent Chapel, Kinnikambla on Monday, January 2 at 10.00 am.

Sr. Carmelita ,my first Cousin spoke to me just two days back giving me the good news of her sisters arrival and requesting me to come. She said she is longing to see me and I promised that I will come next year. Though she was old , her speech was very clear and loving. Her mind was very clear. She was a loving person, gentle in her ways, cheerful and motherly. I could not believe this sudden sad news and that too on New years day . May God grant her rich reward for her selfless loving service for the poor and for the aged. May she intercede for all of us specially her close relatives.

A great soul Sr Carmelita is no more. I was working with her at Rosa Mystica School. She was a Saintly Prayerful Sister. Very silent in her work. Very affectionate with all. On Christmas day we wished over the phone and told her i will be coming to meet her on 2nd Jan 2023 and her last journey on the same day. I can't digest this. Very much loss to us. Good bye dear Sr Carmelita until we meet at HEAVEN. May her noble soul rest in peace.
