Kenneth D'Souza (61), husband of Leela D'Souza, father of Christopher & Charlene, father-in-law of Sean Ferguson, passed away on September 17, 2022.

A ceremony will be held at the Christian cemetery in Jebel Ali on Saturday, September 24, 2022.

There will be a viewing from 3.15 pm to 4.00 pm to pay respects, followed by a brief prayer service including last rites at 4.00 pm. Following the service, a private cremation will be held.

Dear Leela. With a Heavy Heart I am writing this . Kenneth was truly a very good friend . Both of you were so kind to me when I was living in Dubai . Your home was always open I would just call and drop in for Food and your warm company . You both made such a Beautiful couple . I had know Kenneth since I was in High School . We all belong to one big group of Rotary Friends enjoying are care free life with Music and great Picnic's . Kenneth was loved by my family especially my Mum who found him to be very respectful and someone who she thought would go far in life . I have known Kenneth his Parents sisters and Brothers as well. I Pray that the Lord continues to look after You Charlene & Christopher . May you have the strength to get you through this trying time. May his soul rest in Peace . God Bless.

Ken was a thorough gentleman, qualified, soft spoken, dignified, friend & a good soul. Ken was the vice chairman of the Dubai St. Mary’s Church Ushers’ sodality & has rendered selfless service for over 2 decades. Aboline & I were closely associated with Ken in managing the Ushers’ sodality. Ken was a great Darts player, was a team leader and a champion once. Dear Leela, as we all know, our plans are not God’s plans, trust you would accept d fact and carry on. Be assured of our prayers for peace n strength & rest be assured that our dear Ken is certainly enjoying the heavenly bliss. May Ken’s soul rest in Peace.

The services we rendered together at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dubai made us to know each other very well. The support Ken gave me together with late T. Francis and Mr. George when I approached Rev. Fr. Peter (the then Parish Priest) and placed my views and the changes to be made to “how to come to receive the Holy Communion in an organized way like that in Mangalore” back in 2007 cannot be forgotten. We’ll always remember him as a kind, thoughtful man. His apple smile and great personality shall remain in our hearts. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
