Sophie Govias (78), of Chennai, wife of Gilbert Govias, and mother of Miriam (+ the late Blaise Noronha), the late Roland ( + Cleva Fernandes), Rosaline ( + Lindsay Fernandes), Merle ( + Mahesh), Patricia ( + Lancy Fernandes), Mariette ( + Malcolm D'Souza), Allan ( + Sunita Rego) and Ruth ( + John Noronha), passed away on March 17, 2007.

Funeral service will be held at 4 pm on Sunday, March 18 in Annai Velankanni Church, Besant Nagar, Chennai, followed by interment in Quibble Island cemetery, Santhome.
