Avid Alphonso Andrade (86), Ex Corporal, IAF, Modern Bread, husband of Rita Fernandes, father of Naveen, Nirmala and Alwyn, passed away on December 30, 2021.

Funeral cortege leaves residence on January 1 at 2.30 pm for Our Lady of Fathima Church, Jalahally, Bengaluru, followed by Mass and burial at 3.30 pm.

Dear Rita aunty, Naveen, Nirmala and Alwyn, it was shocking to hear your beloved Dad's demise.He was a gem and we may not find as helpful, kind and affectionate person like your dad and a husband for aunty Rita.I had a great interaction with Avy baba and we are sort of neighbours in Barkur and he was our family friend in Bangalore.Through Alwyn I came to know your dad very well in Bangalore and then you later Naveen.I always remember his hospitality and kindness when I was just settling a family life.Naveen, please accept my heartfelt condolences and condolences to you, sister Nirmala and Alwyn and your beloved Mom Rita aunty.May God comfort you and give you all enough of courage and fortitude to bear this loss.It was really shocking to hear this. Take care and may his gentle soul rest in peace.Our rhoughts and prayers go out to you all and his siblings Celine bai, Mary bai and Rev Fr George Andrade. Fr George used to visit his dear brother and even met him at your house few times.May God reward him in his eternal bliss and abode.Praying for you all at this trying times.Sorry could not send a message to you before this or than message sent to you on FB.Please be assured that you have a great soul to intercede for all of your henceforth as his rewards are there in heaven for the noble life he has led.
