Dear Esme, Bert, Sheila, Maria, Anthony & family, Our deepest Sympathies to you all on the passing of dear Hero. Now he is in Heaven cracking jokes with all those who have gone before him. He was an incredible man of such talent & knowledge. We fondly remember the nice times we spent with you & hero here in Houston & the long chats we used to have on the phone. We are so fortunate to speak with you & Hero on your B'day Esme. Watched the funeral service live. It was so well organized and arranged from the church décor, mass & the eulogy. Everything went off so well. Hero certainly had a Hero's send off he so richly deserved. May God grant you the fortitude to carry on without him. Dear Aunty Esme , Bert / Sheila ,Maria / Anthony and all members of the family It is truly sad that Uncle Hero is no more with us. Please accept our heartfelt Condolences and we pray for God grant Uncle Hero eternal rest . Uncle Hero has left very pleasant memories. His sense of humor , wit had no parallel. During any get togethers , Christmas, Easter , weekends , he was one among young adults with no age bar. We loved his company and presence. I will never forget time we spent with him , in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Dubai , Al Ain.... Even when he was hospitalized with surgery , and while we visit him with concern, he will make light of his hospitalization with humor and jokes . Very rare quality at old age. Uncle hero has left this world but he will live with us forever. I was an honor and privilege to have spent time with Uncle Hero and we all will miss him. Our children recounted all the fun we used to have together. We also pray for Auntie Esmi, children and family. It was with profound sadness we received news of dear uncle Hero passing into the hands of our Lord just few days short of his 90th birthday. Uncle Hero was gentle, soft spoken but had a sense of humour, we looked forward to meeting Aunty and Uncle as they enlivened every occasion with their prese. We have such good memories of the times spent with uncle hero and Aunty. Even in hospital, uncle would crack a joke. Dear Esme, Bert & Sheila, Maria & Anthony, our hearts are heavy and filled with sadness at the news that Hero has gone to his heavenly abode. Upon hearing the sad news my thoughts quickly recollected Hero as a young man and I a little girl. He used to come home to Brito Bagh spend the evenings with us and I used to listen in on all of the chatting going on between Hero and my mom. One such chat was when I over heard a match being made with Hero and Esme. I still remember visiting Esme and my mom giving Esme the news about this handsome man as a possible match. Then it was history. Hero was gentle and kind, soft spoken and demure personality always willing to lend a helping hand. I am sure the pain and sadness that you feel is intense. We send our heartfelt sympathies to you all and pray that all those happy memories of time spent with Hero will ease some of the pain and that the brilliant star in the night sky will help celebrate his life. May Hero's soul rest in peace.
