Fr Stanislaus served as Rector & Professor at St Joseph's Seminary, Mangalore for many years. He was also Director of Fatima Retreat House & has served in Mundgod Mission.

The passing away of Fr. Stany Miranda S.J. was a shocking news for the Chairman & the members of Xavier Educational Trust. His spirit of service and sacrifice will always be remembered with gratitude by the XET & XITC. Fr. Stany was a large hearted man and lived for others. During the initial years of the Trust, i.e. 1984 onwards when there were ups and downs & other struggles it was Fr. Stany who stood by us thick and thin. Thank you Fr. Stany. Dearest Rev. Fr.
