Teacher, Kinnigoli), daughter of the late Martin and the late Sebastin Pinto, sister of the late John / the late Margarita, aunt of Cyprian / Lita, Fr William Pinto (Mysore Diocese), Lenny / Elias, Monica / Felix, Dotty / Camil, Clita / James, Godfrey / Juliana and Vijay / Veera, grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 8, passed away on July 15, 2021.

Funeral cortege leaves residence Gundala House, near petrol pump, for Immaculate Conception Church, Kinnigoli on Saturday, July 17 at 10.00 am, followed by Mass. Covid protocol to be strictly followed.

Heartfelt condolences to her dear family. Sorry to hear Esthel Teacher passed away. very loving, Independent, well disciplined, active, with good memory till her last. A great inspiration. From a young age we see her attending mass everyday at 6.00am in the morning, visit to market in the evening and a small chat of few words on her way back home whenever we meet . She will be missed and remembered by each one of us . Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her . May her rest in peace. Amen.

'Bai', you were so fondly called by all your near and dear ones. A personality so charismatic, enthusiastic, vibrant and benevolent. You filled the shoes of our grandparents. Our summer vactions have some of the best memories because of you. Be it your cooking, a simple peez, ambyache nisthe or fish fry. They all tasted so heavenly beacuse you cooked it with so much zeal & love and we craved for more. Our evening trips to the market were ocassions we most eagerly looked forward to. We were assured of some snacks or goodies and you never missed an opportunity to bring that smile on our face. Your talent for craft and stitching was admirable. The way you draped your cotton sarees-just to perfection!! You were a person we looked upto, a strong, independent woman, a woman who spoke her mind and strived for her loved ones. You were an epitome of strength and character. Our trips to mlore are never going to be the same, the scene of those eager eyes peeping out of the door, waiting at the doorstep to welcome us will never be seen again. Thank you Dear Bai for everything that you have done for us and for everything you have been to us. Always gratetful. We will miss you BAI. Rest in Peace.

Every time when we go Mangalore, we use to visit her and she use to surprise us by reminding all of our date of births etc. Her memory power was very strong till her last .
