Joseph (Joe) Rasquinha (80), husband of Maryann Rasquinha, father of Arul / Arathi and Carol / Denzil, grandfather of Calvin, Leanne and Arvind, passed away on June 8, 2021.

Mortal remains will be kept at St Sebastian Church Portico, Bendur from 3.30 pm to 4 pm on Wednesday, June 9, followed by funeral rites at 4 pm at St Sebastian Church cemetery, Bendore, Mangalore.

Our meetings were few and infrequent. But those were enough for me to hold Mr Joseph Rasquinha in the highest esteem. He was a thorough gentleman of the old school, softspoken and serene, ethical and upright, and always clear in his communication and thought. He could quickly absorb all important points during our discussions and missed nothing. We followed his brave battle with covid, hoping he would make it. That he didn't, does not take away from the courage and tenacity with which he fought to return to the family he loved.
