Sr M Roshni Monteiro BS of Infant Jesus (62) nee Mary Monteiro of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany, Mangalore, daughter of the late Francis Monteiro and the late Joanna D’Almeida, sister of Fr Joseph Monteiro SJ and Fr Ivan Monteiro OCD belonging to Sacred Heart Church, Maril, Puttur of Mangalore Diocese, passed away on June 7, 2021 at 10.00 am.

Funeral service of will be held in Holy Cross Church, Kulshekar, Mangalore on Tuesday, June 8 at 03.00 pm.

I was shocked to hear the sudden demise of dear Sr. Roshni who was my good friend when I was the headmistress in St. Gerosa High School Jeppu. As she was the Headmistress of Kankanady Bethany High School, we used to meet very often. She was very simple, affectionate and loving. May God grant her eternal bliss and admit her to His heavenly kingdom. My heartfelt condolence to all Bethany Sisters and her bereaved family members. Good bye Sr. Roshni.
