Fr Vincent Victor Menezes (75), son of the late Gregory Menezes and the late Mary Magdalene Noronha, Valencia, brother of the late John / Christine, the late Catherine / the late Dennis, Andrew / Dorothy, Veronica / the late Egbert, the late Joseph / Gretta, the late Peter / Rita, the late Gerald / Eva and Ivan / Emma, passed away on May 20, 2021.

Funeral rites will take place on Friday, May 21 at St Vincent Ferrer Church, Valencia, Mangalore at 9:30 am. Due to Covid restrictions we request all to stay home and pray for his soul.

Dear Andrew, Whinny, Ivan We are so heartbroken over the passing of our loving Fr. Vincy. We were praying earnestly for him to recover and fight back, but the Lord one and has taken away one of our best soldiers with him. I fondly remember growing up with my cousin and all the Christmas greetings. His loss has left a big void for us in our lives and we pray that Fr. Vincy lifts us up as we pray for an end to this terrible virus that has taken away so many of our loved ones. It is difficult to bear the loss of a simple but unique priest to the Mangalore diocese, an idealogical writer to the literary community,practically enthusiastic promoter to the AA fellowship and a serene leader to the Christian community. His mission was greater than his oath taken as a God’s soldier. He didn’t given a sermon without an AA message and the result has been wonderful. God has chosen him for eternal rest.
